M&M INITIATIVES: PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING
M&M Initiatives is the developer and owner of the LPCAT (Learning Potential Computerised Adaptive Test), which was developed in collaboration with the Human Sciences Research Council of South Africa. At presently the LPCAT is used by more than 80 major South African companies with the aim of determining the learning potential of employees for screening and selection, career planning and development as well as bursary purposes. The LPCAT is also used in some African countries, as well as Dubai, Vietnam, Sri-Lanka and France (Instructions are available in French). A project for obtaining international norms is in progress in collaboration with Prof. John Barnard from the University of Melbourne.
In addition we have developed 17 psychological tests (personality as well as cognitive) for the South Africa Police Services as well as a mechanical ability selection instrument for ABI (Coca-Cola) in collaboration with SAB Miller. We have also been involved, through the individual members of our association, in the development of a substantial amount of assessment instruments for the Human Science Research Council of South African.
We provide a range of psychological assessment services to a number of South African based companies. Some of these companies would typical forward the raw data of agreed assessment instruments to us, after which we would write unbiased and professional reports in an agreed report format. Some of our major South-African based clients include Amalgamated Banks South Africa (ABSA), Anglo American, Aspen Pharmaceutical Holdings (International), De Beers Mining Corporation, HSBS, Ernest & Young and numerous other companies.
Our psychological assessment services include the assessment of individuals for recruitment and selection, training, managerial as well as leadership development purposes. We assess individuals as well as teams as part of an assessment centre. The assessment is tailor made to measure the inherent requirements of each job and/or the specific purpose our clients need the assessment for. We make use of an array of assessment instruments, as we do believe that the assessment instrument should be the best instrument to measure the required competencies.
M&M INITIATIVES: OTHER OPERATIONS
We are also involved in strategic management, organisational development as well as training. Some of the South African based organisations we have been involved in include Africon Engineering (International), Australian High Commission (SA), National Union for Mineworkers (NUM), Nashua Mobile, Southern African Wild Life College (International), South African National Parks, and numerous other smaller companies.

M&M INITIAITIVES: COMMUNITY PROJECTS
We have been involved in a number of educational projects aimed at improving the opportunities for disadvantaged scholars in South Africa. In particular, for the FEFSA project (Future Engineers for South Africa), as well as the Work for Water Project (Sponsored by the Netherlands Government). We also make use of local Universities to empower previously disadvantaged students to form part of our teams, opening the door for them to get exposure, do their internships and hopefully to build future careers.
