The Learning Potential Computerised Adaptive Test (LPCAT) is a cognitive learning potential instrument and can be used to identify present as well as potential future level of reasoning ability in a way that does not depend on either language proficiency or prior learning opportunities (i.e. level of education). The test uses a dynamic test-teach-test approach, with training being provided within test administration to afford examinees an opportunity to optimise their performance.
